One thing I wonder is why the didn't put Abby higher up on the jungle gym in the remake. To me, one of the points that something was "off" about Eli in the original is that she not only appears so suddenly, but it at the very top of the bars (you can't really tell from the pic here but it's a bit of a distance). And the fact she rather casually jumps off without any effort.
